Anita sat at in her office all day thinking about what had happened earlier. She couldn't get it out of her head that she has smoked a couple of cigarettes. Later in the day, a couple of her friends called her, and asked if she wanted to go out drinking later that night. Anita told them okay, and that she would meet them around eleven.

Anita arrived at Custer's, the bar that was right off of the interstate. She went in, and took a seat at the bar. About twenty minutes went by, and Anita's friends were no where to be found. The smokey atmosphere gave Anita a thought. How bad would it be to have another cigarette. Maybe it would be better this time, and it could only help my story. One more couldn't hurt. So Anita dug in her purse, and pulled out her pack of Camels. She took a cigarette out, and put it between her lips, but she couldn't find her lighter. So she dug through her purse, but with no luck. Then a flame appeared before her. She looked up to see a silver Zippo, with a halo on it, and being held by a tall man with dark hair. The man offered her a light, and Anita put her head forward, and took the smoke in. She was taken back by the man, and his offer. The man told her that his name was Robert, and asked if he could sit down. Anita told him okay, and Robert sat down, while lighting himself a cigarette. Anita and Robert started talking, and before she knew it, she had finished her cigarette. Robert offered her another, and Anita accepted. Robert ordered some drinks for both of them, and commented on how cigarettes always taste better with alchohol. Anita was finding this to be very true. They talked on, and on about how she was supposed to meet her friends, and they didn't show. Robert told her how, this was a good accident. Anita asked Robert how long he had smoked, and he told her that he started when he was in his late teens. He told her that he was found woman smokers to be sexy, and secretly wanted to smoke himself. Anita was suprised by the fact that he would like this, as she had another cigarette. She found herself drawn to Robert,and made it a effort to look better as she smoked. A hour or so went by and she realized it was time to go home. Robert asked for her number, and Anita gave it to him. As Anita got up she saw the ashtray, and realized she had smoked almost half a pack that day. Anita left Custer's, with a smile on her face. Anita got in her car, and noticed that her lighter had fallen out of her purse, and on to the seat. Anita drove home, but before she went to bed, she had another Camel, and thought of Robert.
