The closest I have come to making such a bold request is once when sitting next to a lovely lady in a bar who I knew through a former girlfriend of mine. She was smoking Kools and the guy to her right was complaining about her smoking because he had asthma. She turned to me and said why would he come here if he has asthma? I shrugged my shoulders than told her I like cigarettes so you could blow the smoke at me. She did too.
I wasn't as fortunate in a similar incident many years ago when I lived in Florida. In a nighclub I was sitting next to a drop dead gorgeous blonde who was smoking incessantly to the dismay of the dude to her left. He finally made a snotty comment to her and told her to move her ashtray. She moved it next to me and I just smiled at her. But she misinterpted my smile and said you going to give me a hard time? I pointed to my pack of Marlboros sitting by my drink and told her you could blow as much smoke at me as you like, I like cigarettes........she grabbed her drink and her cigarette and left her stool so fast you would have thought I had just told her I had leoporacy.
