I think the problem was that the other dude really gave her such a hard time, that she didn't hear what I said and assumed that I was giving her a hard time as well.......or maybe I made it sound too much like I wanted to be bathed in her smoke. Oh well, my intention was just to let her know it was ok with me that she was smoking.

Your line is a good one but it wouldn't have worked with her.........she was too damn beautiful and no way could she believe that I or any man wouldn't find her attractive. And yes, I was not a wealthy man at the time and she did seem like the type who would be attracted to money (don't remember what I was wearing)
