>Chain-smoking does nothing for me, so I'd much rather watch someone who has just >started because they'll naturally be more conservative. Maybe the shoot could be over a >week or so and keep a record of her gradual addiction. Of course, the only problem with >this is getting a non-smoker who's willing to start ;) I'll admit that I don't have a large collection of vids. I barely have time to go through all the great images that are available for free on-line, and I save my big expenditures for real life "smoke-in-the-face" experiences. So all of this is idle speculation from someone who doesn't know what he's talking about.
I was thinking of a video that would keep tabs on a young lady for a period of maybe two months. I'm certain an ad in a college newspaper offering a substantial sum of money for a non-smoking girl who'd be willing to try smoking (for a "research project") and be video taped would generate lots of interest. In fact, just interviewing the interested parties would make for a good tape. The goal would be to progress from the first tentative puffs, to inhaling a week later, to eventually smoking a pack a day of full flavored cigs. All along there'd be interviews, how do you like the taste, how does it feel, are you having cravings, etc. Comparing different brands, trying menthols and so on would also be of interest. If the young lady wanted to quit after that, this might also make for some interesting viewing.
