Very well put Cevyn. I am not certain if they do so for erotic reasons or for reasons of trying to be realistic. Though I suppose quite a few do so for reasons of glamour and sensuality. I do imagine some in Hollywood believe smoking to be sexy and seductive. I read an interview with David Ducovney and he was asked how he feels about his wife's heavy smoking ways (the lovely actress Tea Leonie). He replied "I love when Tea smokes...it makes her look very sexy". Interestingly enough however, though many of our fellow fetishists believe that Woody Allen must have the smoking fetish because of all the female smoking in his movies; when he had the very excellent smoker Mira Sorvino in his movie "The Mighty Aphrodite", he didn't have her smoke once. go figure :)
