For a brief period in my early teenage years, I smoked Virginia
Slims Lights 100's (non-menthol). I stole them from my aunt
to smoke; my parents both smoked Marlboros at that point, and
I'd only smoked for about a year (and still barely knew how to
inhale). Marlboros were far too rough on me then, so the VSL100's
seemed like a good alternative.I liked them well enough, though I think I would've enjoyed Camel
Lights or something similar far much more. Some years after I
became firmly addicted, I bought a pack of VS 100's, full-flavor,
every now and then alongside my usual Marlboro 100's, explaining
that my sister wanted a pack. VS full-flavors are quite good.
I wouldn't smoke them in public, but then...I rarely smoke in public to begin with, so that's not a problem! TS
