Just getting away from guilt exchange for a bit.I think this whole discussion raises a whole range of interesting discussion points whether male smoking fetishers are in fact smokers themselves. It would be interesting to conduct a poll to find out how many of 'us' are smokers / non-smokers.
Personally, I am a non-smoker. I prefer this, as one of the things I love to do is to kiss a girl after she has been smoking and taste the cigarette smoke on her mouth. If I smoked, I would not smell / taste this! Similarly, you would miss that exquisite mixture of feminine perfume and cigarettes, or running your face through her smoky hair mixed in with the smell of feminine shampoo.
Occasionally, it is good to smoke say a Marlboro Red and feel just what a kick they have, so you can appreciate what your lady is feeling when she smokes them.
This whole guilt thing re enjoying women doing something that is harming them is interesting. I don't quite understand it myself, but it must be somehow the risk taking, dangerous aspect of it that is appealing. Remember bad girls smoke and I love bad girls!
For example, nearly all SFers would prefer girls who really inhale thus doing themselves 'damage' rather than just puffers. Similarly, there is the turn on when girls smoke strong cigarettes. Generally, I think a lot of SFers would prefer girls to smoke Marlboro Reds.
Re the guilt thing, I don't think we have to worry too much about needing psychologists, 90% of the world's population are mentally screwed up over sex.
Generally, re the male SFer and the female smoker, a relationship between the two is 'one made in heaven'. The most awesome discovery for a SFer is a female smoker who deliberately uses her smoking to turn her man on. (This unfortunately is not very common in my experience!).
