I haven't been to this forum in a while... and just discovered the link to your blog, which I am enjoying very much.
As the partner of a man who has the fetish, I am always fascinated by stories of how the fetish has manifested in others over time.Though I can't honestly say that I share the same degree of excitement during smoking that my partner does... I do know it feels wonderful to include smoking as a part of our love play... and I will now smoke a couple of cigarettes a day "for myself" during which I can't help but feel the stirrings of arousal.
If not a full-blown fetish, I certainly have developed a mental/emotional association that has really enhanced my love life. One of the things I like is for my partner to talk to me about his early experiences. It's nice to have other perspectives.
