New Year's Eve and the early hours of the new year produce more changes in smoking practices than any other day. For many non-smokers, it will be one of the few times they smoke in the year, and it is very unlikely they will become smokers.
For smokers, it is the most likely time they will try to quit. Some enjoy success at this each year.
