On the weekend I had a long lunch at a local pub and got a sighting of one of the blokes’ girlfriends’ trying a cigar for the first time. A couple of hours into our long lunch the said girlfriend turned up to have a couple of drinks with us, and commented to me that she only smoked when she drank. She smoked a number of cigarettes while I was there and despite being very good looking (and very much out of my league even if she had been single) had very little style and I did not find it attractive whatsoever. Not long after one of the blokes I was with went into the bar, bought some cigars and offered them around. About half of the group, including the girlfriend and her partner, refused.
I’ve only ever smoked a couple of cigars so decided to indulge. After getting some tips from the bloke bought the cigars I lit one up. Not long into the cigar the girlfriend told us that she had never tried a cigar and then asked me could she try some of mine. Between being half cut, being unaware of the etiquette of cigar smoking and under the spell of this very good looking young lady I gladly obliged. She had a couple of puffs then commented that it tasted nice, and handed it back. Shortly after, she asked one of the other guys for a puff of his, again commented that it tasted nice before handing it back and asking for a cigar of her own.
I’m not into cigar smoking, though she smoked the cigar with much better style than she did with any of her cigarettes. She smoked many more cigarettes that afternoon/evening, though never replicated the excellent style with which the cigar was smoked.
