It sounds like they're going in the right direction for me, anyway. That is, if these electronic cigarettes are acceptable in today's culture, then perhaps they could fill the role that conventional cigarettes used to fill years ago... that today obviously, because the mores and folkways of our culture have changed so much, conventional cigarettes might no longer be able to fulfill.
So, one maybe could promote these electronic cigarettes with pretty girls, couples, and groups of people in ads... as once was common with conventional cigarette ads. That way, perhaps the advertising, promotion, and this new electronic cigarette product itself can fulfill the role that conventional cigarette advertising and promotion, and even conventional cigarettes themselves have for someone like myself.
And, for most smokers, largely only interested in conventional cigarettes themselves, these electronic cigarettes can perhaps fulfill the role that conventional cigarettes once fulfilled in a much more socially acceptable manner given the changed mores and folkways of our culture today. For most smokers, it's my impression that a product like this could bring them back inside again. That is, perhaps they won't have to continue to be the social pariah that smokers have become in our culture today.
