In case you were wondering waht my mom looks like, she changes her appearance quite regularly. Right now its blonde.but kind of a grey white blode, obviously because she is fed up of dyeing it. She puts me in the mind of a lady from s/c. Victoria:

My mums hair is not quite as long as that, and less brassy, and she has nicer cheekbones; but other than that she is very like her. Her coat yesterday was black faux fur, but has has lots of furs.My mom does have a coat like this which there are details of below, but though it is full like this; it has a blue sheen to it. This is actually more like my moms hair. Though this model is younger and I suspect from the 80s, again it puts me in mind of my mum . I especially like this one as its gloved:

Sorry that one isn't smoking. You can tell she is getting her cigs out of her pocket thhough! I wanted to show you tahat becuse it is so like my moms coat. And when her bust rises in that big fur collar as she inhales, its is a real treat.

my mum looked like this 30 years ago so you can see there is a similar attraction. I love the way she is looking down in this photo, naturaly because she would always smile while looking down at me with here gloved hand holding the cigarette aloft. Her cheekbones are stil like this when she smiles, but like mant older classy women these days my mom has discovered tanning (so her skin tone is more these days like Victoria's , as is her make up.

So this site was a nice discovery for me. Her coat yesterday had a collar and cuffs like that, but the body was sheepskin; fitted and long though.

This was a really nice site discovery actually because it is full of smokers in furs. A lot of lovely vintage pictures too. Obviously someone shares my attraction to classic glamour, exemplified by smoking and furs. Sad I think that we live in an age where its not politically correct to do either.Seems to be ganing more acceptance now as it comes out that much of the evidence aginst it for cruelty turns out to be false. There were certainly lot of real furs in London the other day. Only saw one other girl smoking in one though; she had a long brown mink; blonde and about 25. She smiled at me too because my mom and sis were in fur too I think though.
Have a look around it; bet you too will find ladies who remind you fo your mums aunts and teahcers and so on. Lots of smoking.
