Smoking femme cigs probably did not "cause" you to feel the way you do, but they may have triggered it.

If you go down this road, you will find it is a lonely one. "Normal" people will hate you, or at the least, laugh at you. At times, it seems the hatred directed towards the Transgendered is as bad or worse as the hate that was once directed at gays/lesbians. If not outright hatred, at best you'll get loathing.

Case in point: a few years ago a Transsexual was injured in an auto accident. Paramedics arrived and started working on her. In the course of their exam, they found her "little surprise". They backed away, laughing at her. She ended up dead, due to society not accepting someone who is different.

You do not have to be gay to be a crossdresser. Many CD/TV's are attracted to women - they are not the least bit gay. Gender identity does not necessarily go hand-in-hand with sexual identity.

The safest bet: dress up in private, smoke your long cigs, and enjoy! But carry some "boy cigs" in public, and act "normal".
