My guess is that the restrictions on public smoking will produce less fetishists.I know that the constant stimulation of seeing so many women smoke in public was one of the reasons that I developed the fetish.I have read other fetishists describe a "key moment" where they saw a woman smoke in public that helped trigger their fetish,in these same places that once triggered smoking fetishes, smoking is not allowed.

When I was growing up in the 70s and early 80s,everytime you would go out you would see women smoke. You could not avoid being around public smoking,it was a given. Now,in this smoke-free world we live in,I think that many children grow up rarely seeing anyone smoke.Today, you actually have to go out of your way to see someone smoke.Unless you go to bars,or casinos if they are in your area,it's possible to totally avoid being around anyone that smokes.

Could that taboo factor increase the amount of future fetishists?I say probably not.Back in the day when public smoking was common, smoking was still considered naughty.Even back then, there was something "deliciously corrupt" about women smokers.Women smokers seemed so sexy, independent, confident, fun loving, and worldly to me.Even if smoking was socially acceptable, women that smoked still had that "bad girl" appeal. At that time,non-smoking women actually seemed like "goody two shoes".

Today,no one thinks of the non-smoking woman as "goody",she is the norm, she is the standard, she is the avarage, she is in a large and growing majority.Today,if someone sees a woman smoke in public, they will not think of her as bad in a naughty way.The antis have brainwashed people to think that she is bad in a weak and inferior way, that she is a social leapor who is poisoning her body. She is not bad in a naughty way,she is bad in an undesirable way.Taboo, but not sexy, just pure deviant.I just don't see too many children growing up in this anti enviornment developing the fetish. The taboo factor is just too strong. My only hope is that at least some people growing up in this day and age question the anti agenda.
