I think it was Saturday Night Live where William Shatner plays himself in a skit about Star Trek Conventions and while answering questions from the Trekkies (Jon Lovitz among others) he loses it and tells them that they all have to get a life. It was pretty funny. And the spoof of Star Trek by the Original Not Ready for Prime Time players on SNL was hilarious. John Belushi's Captian Kirk was excellent and very funny and Chevy Chase as Spock tried to give the network executive who was cancelling the series the Vulcan neck pinch and couldn't understand why it was not working. I was rolling on the floor. (Dan Akyroyd did a great Bones McCoy and someone had Scotty's accent down perfectly.....Akyroyd also I think). Speak about Star Trek whenever you like Vesperae. I was a huge fan of the original. And I was in love with Yoeman Janice Rand :)
