Rodney is now 100% convinced that he killed Dale Earnhardt. Doctors have attempted to explain to Rodney that there is a zero possibility that anything Rodney did, said, or thought could have had anything to do with Mr. Earhardt's demise at Daytona International Speedway -- but to no avail.In a concerted effort to prevent a hyper-guilt-ridden Rodney from committing suicide, doctors have placed him in a drug induced coma. He appears to be resting comfortably, but twitches viloenty on occasion and mumbles the names "*****Vesperae" and "Watcher".
Doctors said they think the two names may hold a key to Rodney's problems and asked Tampa what he thought. Tampa said he had no idea. As far as Tampa knows, *****Vesperae and Watcher don't even know each other and have never met. The only known connection is that *****Vesparae was always willing to offer free amateur psychiatric advice to the manically depressed and Watcher has been dealing with several "loose screws" for decades.
In the meantime, Rodney lies in an ICU teetering between life and death. A sign on the door to his room explains:
