Well, we didn't actually get "busted", but the candid smoking cam got sick and ceases operation. We've been shooting candid video for over 8 years and the camera has broken down just three times. Not too bad, but never once within 1,000 miles of home.The vid cam always waits until Rodney and Tampa plan a nice trip and spring for airline tickets. Sometimes we take along the back-up. This time, since we had 2 maybe 2.5 days to shoot, we just brought camera number one.
So camera number one decided to break-down. Such is life in the big city. This time the big city was The Big Apple.
Unfortunate. Any time the camera goes South, wall-to-wall knock down gorgeous smokers come out of the woodwork. Naturally.
Anyhow we took the free time to do something else we had always thought about doing in NYC. Maybe we'll share it here on an off-topic basis and those who might be interested can read. One thingn for sure, you won't be able to beat the price. It'll be free.
