So 70% of respondents want smoking banned outside? For all their gloating about pubs smelling nicer (except near the toilets - the number of pubs that smell of urine now is definately on the rise!) it is a fact that non-smokers do not go to pubs regularly or in big numbers. I think the law was one of spite and sour [small fruit found in red and green varieties, used to make wine or dried as raisins] rather than properly thought through legislation.
